ABOUT ME

I always thought I wanted to "be an artist". As it turns out, I really wanted to be a star, because being an artist takes a lot of work. Just when I think, "now I'm getting it" it seems like I have to start over. Which I guess is what learning really is. You learn something you don't know, and when you know it, then you have to learn something else.

I have always been drawn to nature and the landscape. Recently I realized that what I am most moved by in the landscape is color. My main focus right now is just on color, but the landscape keeps poking it's nose in. I just can't seem to help it.

To hell with painting, rocks and bones are doin' for me right now.

I hope you enjoy my work. Most of it is framed and for sale (except the sculptures, they're not framed).
